For security reasons, University Computing Account passwords cannot be recovered, only reset.
To reset your password online, you must have already activated your account and have
selected your three security questions and answers. If you have not activated your account or
have not set your security questions, you must call the Help Desk at 412-624-HELP [4357] in order to proceed.
Depending on your account type and the information we have on file for you, you may be asked to verifiy yourself by:
using multifactor authentication (Duo app must be installed to complete MFA.)
answering your security questions
entering a code sent to you by text or email
